Lose 10 pounds by Summer

Do you want to lose that belly fat before Summer? You can realistically lose 10 or 15 pounds before June if you adopt a couple simple habits.

Losing weight is a numbers game. If you consume 100 calories a day more than your body needs, you will gain approximately 10 pounds in a year. The good news is - you can flip that equation and burn off 100 calories more than you eat!

Exercise in almost any form helps you take that weight off, and then - keep it off. Just by doing 30 minutes of moderate exercise daily. A nice, brisk paced walk. Mix in some jogging. Ride your bike.

Eating healthy foods - in moderation - is vital to losing weight and keeping it off! The combination of exercise and diet offers the most flexible and effective approach to weight control.

Aerobic exercises use the body's large muscle groups in continuous, rhythmic, sustained movement and require oxygen for the production of energy. When oxygen is combined with food (which can come from stored fat) energy is produced to power the body's musculature. The longer you exercise, the more energy needed and the more calories are burned.

Daily aerobic exercise improves the ability of your heart and lungs to use oxygen and produce energy. Daily aerobic exercise builds a healthier body and gets rid of excess body fat. The best way to lose that belly fat is with daily exercise!

If you want to build a leaner, sexier body - supplement your exercise program with muscle strengthening and stretching exercises. Stronger muscles last longer. They can keep going during aerobic activity, and reduce the chance of injury. One excellent workout to help take off the pounds and strengthen your mid-section is rowing! Many fitness lovers have grown to love their SmoothFlow Rower

So if you want to lose that belly before Summer - Start Today! You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish in just 5 or 6 weeks! You can eat healthy, exercise and lose weight fast!

Forget The Myths - Start Getting in Shape!

Has your plan or goal for better fitness fallen a little behind this winter? ( In my case - Way behind! ) No worries - there is still time to start getting in shape and enjoy better fitness and a slimmer body this Summer! And for years to follow!

Many of us - at one time or another - fall prey to some of the common myths which tend to interfere with our progress. Don't let these common myths get in the way of your fitness plans:

Myth 1. Exercising makes you tired.

As they become more physically fit, most people feel physical activity gives them even more energy than before. Regular, moderate-to-brisk exercise can also help you reduce fatigue and manage stress.

Myth 2. Exercising takes too much time.

It only takes a few minutes a day to become more physically active. To condition your heart and lungs, regular exercise does not have to take more than about 30 to 60 minutes, three or four times a week. If you don't have 30 minutes in your schedule for an exercise break, try to find two 15-minute periods or even three 10-minute periods. Once you discover how much you enjoy these exercise breaks, you may want to make them a habit! Then physical activity becomes a natural part of your life.

Myth 3. All exercises give you the same benefits.

All physical activities can give you enjoyment. Low-intensity activities - if performed daily - also can have some long-term health benefits and lower your risk of heart disease. But only regular, brisk and sustained exercises such as brisk walking, jogging or swimming improve the efficiency of your heart and lungs and burn off substantial extra calories. Other activities may give you other benefits such as increased flexibility or muscle strength, depending on the type of activity.

Myth 4. The older you are, the less exercise you need.

We tend to become less active with age, and therefore need to make sure we are getting enough physical activity. In general, middle-aged and older people benefit from regular physical activity just as young people do. Age need not be a limitation. In fact, regular physical activity in older persons increases their capacity to perform activities of daily living. What is important, no matter what your age, is tailoring the activity program to your own fitness level.

Myth 5. You have to be athletic to exercise.

Most physical activities do not require any special athletic skills. In fact, many people who found school sports difficult have discovered that these other activities are easy to do and enjoy. A perfect example is walking - an activity that requires no special talent, athletic ability or fancy equipment. Countless folks - just like you and I - have lost tons of weight walking.

Try it - you'll soon be hooked on that pleasurable feeling - that natural high - you get from a little exercise. For quicker results - build yourself up to longer walks. Or even jogging! Working harder on yourself makes your fitness objectives happen sooner!

If losing weight is one of your goals - the quickest way to lose weight is with plenty of exercise and eating a sensible diet of healthy foods. No more wondering how to get rid of belly fat. The answer is exercise - and lose weight fast!

Getting Rid of Belly Fat

It happened slowly. A gradual transformation was taking place. Most of us see the results of this - most often as it happens to others. Surely that won't happen to me I surmised.

And then it happened - I discontinued my morning walks. Jogging 20 miles a week was all too soon a distant memory. And going to the gym was just not in my schedule. Work, family and Church seemed to take up all of my time. "The children's needs are greater than my own", I thought.

And there it was - The PotBelly! Flab city. I'd seen this happen to others. My own Father had one. Lots of guys at the office weren't as skinny as when we started our careers.

Luckily there is hope - Anyone can start a good cardiovascular exercise program and burn that potbelly away. There are many natural and healthy ways to lose weight. The safest and certainly the fastest requires a two-fold approach. Eating healthy foods - in moderation - and lots of exercise are vital to healthy weight loss. Exercise is crucial to burn fat. Walking is excellent, especially if you pump it up a bit from your usual pace.

If you hit a plateau where you've been exercising for a while and the belly fat just wont seem to disappear - it's time to pick up the pace. And the volume. If you work out two days a week, try to go three or four. Or if you're walking for half an hour, increase it to 45 minutes or even longer if you can.

Alternating bursts of faster paced walking with periods of more moderate paced activity is an excellent way to torch off more fat. Walk for a few minutes. Then jog for a few. Repeat as many times as you comfortably can. This "interval" strategy will burn more calories (and more fat). If you are already jogging, jog then sprint to mix it up some.

Remember to stretch before and after your exercise. Stretching helps develop healthier, more flexible muscles! And get plenty of rest. Your body needs rest to recover and help you get after it again! Shoot for at least seven hours of sleep every night.

Picking up the intensity of your workout for brief bursts will burn more total calories and therefore get rid of more belly fat! You can have a slimmer waist! You can enjoy life more in a leaner, sexier body! The quickest way to lose weight is with plenty of exercise. Start today. Start getting in shape fast and get rid of that belly fat!

Have fun and lose weight naturally

The Good Lord gives us each the same 1440 minutes every day. Start getting in shape fast and you will find yourself losing belly fat. Make a plan to schedule 30 minutes a day for exercise.

Adults need time to play. Time to have fun and blow off steam! With a little creativity and planning, even someone with the busiest schedule can make time for fun and exercise. For many folks, before or after work or meals is often an available time to cycle, walk, or play. Think about your weekly or daily schedule and look for or make opportunities to be more active. Every little bit helps. Consider the following suggestions:

Ride your bike to work or school. Enjoy a healthy, fast paced walk to the corner grocery, or your favorite Church!. Park the car farther away from the door of the Mall or Movie Theater. Get off the bus several blocks away from the office and walk the rest of the way. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Get outside and play with your children.

If you find it too difficult to exercise after work, try to sneak in a brisk walk or jog before you go to work or school. You'll enjoy a boost in energy that lasts all day! Take fitness breaks walking or doing desk exercises instead of that cigarette or coffee break.

Take small trips on foot to get your body moving. Exercise while watching TV (for example, use hand weights, stationary bicycle/treadmill/stairclimber, or stretch). Dance to music. Keep a pair of comfortable walking or running shoes in your car and office. You'll be ready wherever you go!

Make a date with your Family and enjoy a Saturday morning walk. Walk while doing errands.

If you've been inactive for a while - use a sensible approach by starting out slowly. Take your time and gradually increase your intensity or workout time. This isn't a race. Enjoy the journey!

Begin by choosing moderate-intensity activities you enjoy the most. By choosing activities you enjoy, you'll be more likely to stick with them. Gradually build up the time spent doing the activity by adding a few minutes every few days or so until you can comfortably perform a minimum recommended amount of activity (30 minutes per day). As the minimum amount becomes easier, gradually increase your exercise time or increase the intensity of your workout, or both. Vary your activities, both for interest and to broaden the range of benefits. Explore new sports and activities.

Try a new sport. Reward your efforts. Celebrate each milestone! Make it fun. Summer is a great time to get outside and have fun. Get up and get moving! Start today and you'll be on the road to a new, healthy lifestyle.

Start getting in shape fast and watch your waist start getting smaller. Start building muscles and getting rid of that belly fat! Go buy that smaller size you know you'll soon fit into. There are a variety of natural and healthy ways to lose weight fast.

Getting in shape fast helps you lose stomach fat!

The best way to lose belly fat is exercise. Combined with a healthy eating plan, exercise will help you burn more calories and start losing some of that stomach fat we all dread! The more you exercise - the more you stand to lose!

The longer you move aerobically, the more energy needed and the more calories used. Regular aerobic exercise will improve your cardiorespiratory endurance, the ability of your heart, lungs, blood vessels and associated tissues to use oxygen to produce energy needed for activity. You'll build a healthier body while getting rid of excess body fat.

In addition to the aerobic exercise, supplement your program with muscle strengthening and stretching exercises. The stronger your muscles, the longer you will be able to keep going during aerobic activity, and the less chance of injury.

How Much? How Often?

Experts recommend that you do some form of aerobic exercise at least three times a week for a minimum of 20 continuous minutes. Of course, if that is too much, start with a shorter time span and gradually build up to the minimum. Then gradually progress until you are able to work aerobically for 20-40 minutes. If you need to lose a large amount of weight, you may want to do your aerobic workout five times a week.

It is important to exercise at an intensity vigorous enough to cause your heart rate and breathing to increase. How hard you should exercise depends to a certain degree on your age, and is determined by measuring your heart rate in beats per minute.

The heart rate you should maintain is called your target heart rate, and there are several ways you can arrive at this figure. The simplest is to subtract your age from 220 and then calculate 60 to 80 percent of that figure. Beginners should maintain the 60 percent level, more advanced can work up to the 80 percent level.

Start working out today. The best way to get rid of belly fat is to get plenty of exercise! Daily exercise will get you on the road to getting in shape fast.
